AV Xpert was established in 2014, by founder and director, Nick Yeandle.

The business started trading from a home office with a garage for storage. Nick wanted to create a straight forward way for anyone to rent lighting and sound equipment – so he went about setting up the first ever online rental store for AV kit. This fresh approach to AV rentals allowed customers to instantly view products for hire, check availability and book online. A service that makes hiring equipment simple for customers who already know exactly what they need. Of course for those who require expert help and advice, or a more advanced service, there is always the option to speak to one of the team.

The business grew at a fast pace as a wide range of customers including DJs, venues and private individuals, continued to make use of the ever expanding range of products available for hire. The service offering increased to accommodate the demand from venues and corporate clients, for an installed product range.

Within two years the company had outgrown its storage facilities, and there was no more desk space available to broaden the team, so Nick began searching for suitable premises to support the continuing growth. In January 2018, AV Xpert moved to a newly built office and warehouse facility on the Hinchingbrooke Business Park in Huntingdon. The move allowed for a considerable expansion in the AV Xpert team as well as additional space for storage, maintenance, new product development and meetings with customers and suppliers.

The AV Xpert team have become renowned for their expert technical knowledge and experience in the field of AV, providing end-to-end audiovisual solutions in hire, sales, integration, service, maintenance and consultancy.
