AV Xpert was established in 2014, by founder and director, Nick Yeandle. Nick wanted to create a straight forward way for anyone to rent lighting and sound equipment – so he went about setting up the first ever online store for AV rental kit. This fresh approach to AV hire allowed customers to instantly view products for hire, check availability and book online. A service that makes hiring equipment simple for those who already know exactly what they need. Of course for anyone needing anything more complex than a few basic items of kit for hire, there is always the option to speak to one of the team, who can offer expert help and advice.

The business grew at a fast pace, as a wide range of customers continued to make use of the ever expanding range of products available for hire. The service offering also increased very quickly to accommodate the demand from venues and corporate clients, for more complex AV set-ups. AV Xpert are now leading providers of AV technician services and conference AV services to some of Cambridgeshire and the UK’s most prestigious conference venues.

After quickly outgrowing our former premises, In January 2018, AV Xpert moved to a newly built office and warehouse facility on the Hinchingbrooke Business Park in Huntingdon. The move allowed for a considerable expansion in the team as well as additional space for storage, maintenance, new product development and meetings with customers and suppliers.
