Biamp Impera Uniform

The Biamp Impera Uniform control pad is the perfect solution for spaces such as meeting rooms and conference areas that require simple yet effective AV control. With its compact wall-mounted design and a 2.7-inch high-contrast display, this control pad is simple to use, featuring up to eight customisable buttons that can be programmed to control various AV functions such as on/off, source select, volume up/down, mute etc.

AV Xpert Case Study: Meeting Room Upgrades in Chalfont St. Giles

For a private client in Chalfont St. Giles, we undertook a comprehensive AV upgrade across 17 meeting rooms. Each room was equipped with a commercial UHD display, video conferencing system (Barco ClickShare Bar Pro), and Biamp Impera Uniform control pad.

The control systems simplified AV management and streamlined the operation of the AV systems within each room. This installation not only modernised the meeting spaces but also improved productivity by streamlining AV control.

With PIR sensors connected to the control pad, the systems automatically switch on, when a user walks into the room, and if no motion is detected after a period of time, the system will then automatically shut down, meaning users rarely even need to press anything on the control pad.

Biamp Impera Tango & Biamp Apprimo

The Biamp Impera Tango is a powerful controller designed to integrate seamlessly with Biamp Apprimo touch panels. Capable of hosting up to five connected panels, the Impera Tango allows these panels to work either synchronously or independently, making it ideal for multi-room setups or complex environments.

The Biamp Apprimo Touch 7 is a responsive touch panel designed for spaces that require a higher level of AV control. Featuring a 7-inch touchscreen with a vibrant full-colour display, it can be wall-mounted or placed on a flat surface to suit any room configuration. Its advanced features include automatic brightness adjustment to adapt to ambient light levels and PIR sensors that activate the screen when someone approaches, ensuring seamless usability. The interface is fully customisable, allowing it to align with specific control requirements and corporate branding, while its adaptability makes it easy to update or modify as room needs evolve.

AV Xpert Case Study: Long Road Sixth Form College

AV Xpert are currently undertaking a project to upgrade the AV equipment in a hall at Long Road Sixth Form College. The new AV system features a Biamp Impera Tango along with two Biamp Apprimo Touch 7 panels. The project also includes the installation of a projector, projector screen, sound system, and microphones, all seamlessly managed through the control system. This solution will provide the college with a highly professional and intuitive AV setup, perfect for presentations, lectures, and speeches.

AV Xpert Case Study: Large Meeting Room Installation

For a large meeting room upgrade, we designed and installed a fully integrated AV system featuring the Q-SYS Core 110f-v2 processor, three commercial UHD displays, in-ceiling speakers, a variety of microphones (both in-ceiling and wireless) and two Q-SYS PTZ cameras. The system is designed to run in a variety of modes, all easily selectable via the large 10” touch screen control panel, with options for wireless Bring Your Own Device (via Barco Clickshare) and Microsoft Teams Rooms for seamless, one-touch joining of video conference calls. This setup allowed unified management of audio, video, and conferencing tools, delivering a versatile meeting room environment.
