AV Xpert Supports CambsB2B North

AV Xpert were proud to support this year’s Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce CambsB2B North Exhibition as both Gold Sponsor and AV Event Partner, helping to deliver the technical production that supported a busy day of networking and business engagement.

Overview:

AV Xpert was proud to support this year’s CambsB2B North Exhibition as both Gold Sponsor and AV Event Partner, helping to deliver the conference AV, event production and technical support required for a busy day of networking and business engagement.

As one of the region’s key business networking events, CambsB2B North brought together organisations from across Cambridgeshire and beyond for a day of networking, learning and collaboration.

Alongside our role as AV Event Partner, the AV Xpert team also exhibited at the event, meeting local businesses and discussing a wide range of audio-visual requirements, from AV hire and event production through to meeting room technology, video conferencing and permanent AV installations.

The Event:

In the main conference space, we designed a custom stage setup for the guest speakers and talks taking place across the event.

To ensure content was clearly visible throughout the venue, the stage was complemented by two 75" 4K UHD commercial displays, alongside two additional 55" 4K UHD commercial displays positioned further back in the space as repeater screens.

Behind the scenes, our technicians managed all video distribution, showcasing custom content and videos on the displays to help support the speeches and presentations. Using professional switching and distribution systems, content was synchronised across every display, ensuring attendees could engage with the content wherever they were within the main conference hall.

Audio coverage was equally important. For speakers presenting from the stage, we supplied a range of microphone options including two gooseneck microphones for the lectern, four wireless lapel microphones and two wireless handheld microphones. This allowed presenters and hosts to communicate clearly and confidently throughout the event.

To ensure announcements, speeches and background music could be heard consistently across the exhibition, we implemented a linked audio system covering the entire venue. Four speakers provided coverage within the main conference hall, while a further eight speakers were distributed throughout the additional exhibition areas. This integrated setup helped maintain a connected atmosphere across all sections of the event.

The Results:

Throughout the day, our AV solutions helped create a professional and engaging environment. We managed the technical aspects, allowing organisers, guest speakers and attendees to focus on building relationships and sharing knowledge.
