Simple Control of Every Part of Your Room
Designed around the people who use it
A well designed AV system should be easy for anyone to use, whether it’s a director starting a board meeting or a visitor walking into a meeting room for the first time. Our bespoke control systems feature customised UI and UX design and programming complete with your own company branding, so displays, cameras, microphones, sources and audio can all be managed from one simple touch panel.
Based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, AV Xpert designs, programs and installs control systems for meeting rooms, boardrooms, town hall spaces and larger venues. We take time to understand how each room is used, then build controls that make the everyday tasks a single touch.

Bespoke UI and UX Design
Controls that look and feel like your business
Every control interface we build is designed for the room it lives in. We lay out the buttons people actually need, hide the settings they don’t, and finish the screens with your company’s identity for a seamless, professional look and feel. The result is a panel that new users understand at a glance and regular users can operate without thinking.
Fully Integrated Systems
Audio, video and conferencing working together
Using the Q-SYS platform, a fully integrated AV and video conferencing ecosystem, we make sure that every element of your setup can be managed with ease. A single action can switch on the displays, select the right source, set the microphones and start a video call, so meetings begin on time and without fuss.
Control for Larger and Multi-Use Spaces
From a single room to a whole venue
Control systems come into their own in spaces with several displays, zones or layouts. We program presets for the different ways a room is used, such as presentations, hybrid meetings or events, so staff can change the whole space over in moments. Our engineers can also look after the system once it’s installed, through our support and maintenance agreements.

Control System FAQs
What is an AV control system?
An AV control system brings the equipment in a room, such as displays, projectors, cameras, microphones and speakers, under one simple interface, usually a touch panel. Instead of several remotes, users can start a meeting or presentation with a single touch.
Can the control panel carry our company branding?
Yes. Our control interfaces are designed and programmed for each project, complete with your own company branding, so they look and feel part of your business.
Do control systems work with video conferencing?
Yes. We integrate control with video conferencing systems for platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet, so calls, cameras and audio can be managed from the same panel.
Can you add control to our existing AV equipment?
Often, yes. We’ll survey your current equipment and advise what can be integrated, and whether any items would benefit from being replaced.
What happens if something goes wrong after installation?
Our installations come with a 1-year on-site callout warranty, and longer-term cover is available through our support and maintenance agreements.
