The AV Xpert Main Stage at WildFest 2026

At AV Xpert, we were incredibly proud to be the Main Stage Sponsor for WildFest 2026, a free-to-attend community festival and family fun day for all ages, celebrating the wildlife, green spaces and natural beauty of Huntingdonshire.
Held on Sunday 26th July 2026 at Riverside Park, Huntingdon, WildFest returned thanks to Huntingdonshire District Council in partnership with Wild About Huntingdon. The event brought together families, local organisations and the wider community for a fun-filled day of live music, entertainment and activities, with plenty to enjoy and discover about the wildlife on our doorstep.
As a company based in the local area, we are passionate about supporting events that make a positive impact within our community. WildFest was an opportunity to inspire people of all ages to connect with nature, learn new skills and understand the importance of protecting our local environment for future generations.
Delivering a Stage Experience Worthy of the Occasion
As the Main Stage Sponsor, AV Xpert provided a complete professional stage production, ensuring performers and presenters could deliver an engaging experience throughout the day.
The AV Xpert Main Stage was designed and built specifically for WildFest, using professional staging, truss and lighting from our own rental stock. It comprised a seven by four metre staging deck at 600mm height with a nine by five metre covering to shelter performers and equipment, framed by a truss archway and finished with dynamic, weatherproof stage lighting fixtures run from a dedicated lighting console. Together, this bespoke setup created an impressive focal point within Riverside Park, and was home to some truly memorable performances, complemented by the professional stage, sound and lighting package we provided.
Sound was front and centre at WildFest, and we delivered a full professional audio system to ensure every performance was heard clearly across the site. This was built around a three-per-side RCF HDL 6-A line array with JBL powered subwoofers, mixed on an Allen & Heath QU-5D digital console connected to the stage over a Dante network. A comprehensive microphone package, spanning vocal, instrument and condenser microphones, supported the live bands and presenters throughout the day, with on-stage monitoring so performers could hear themselves clearly.
Our experienced event crew installed and removed the entire production, and an AV Xpert sound engineer remained on site throughout the day to run sound checks with each act and mix every performance live, delivering a smooth, professional sound from the first performance to the last.
Supporting Our Local Community
At AV Xpert, we have always believed in supporting our local community. We were proud to support an event that not only offered a full day of free entertainment but also promoted environmental awareness and celebrated the organisations working hard to protect local wildlife and habitats.
