We are particularly passionate about helping younger technicians find a route into the AV industry, giving them the opportunity to develop real-world experience, confidence and practical ability through hands-on work.

We are not just looking for qualifications on paper. We value a good level of practical skills and ability, a genuine interest in audio-visual technology, and the right attitude to learn, improve and contribute to the team. We are interested in hearing from people who already have a basic knowledge and understanding of AV, whether that comes from education, hands-on experience, or both. That might include a college course, degree, or training in an area such as music technology, live sound, events or production. It could equally come from practical experience as a musician, band member, mobile DJ, venue technician, freelancer, or similar.
Above all, we look for people who are dependable, eager to learn, technically minded, and ready to get stuck in. A positive attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to grow are just as important as existing knowledge.
Our main focus is on building and strengthening our technical team, but opportunities at AV Xpert are not limited to technical roles alone. From time to time, roles also arise within the office, including operations, sales, marketing, business development and administration. As the company continues to grow, we want to create opportunities for good people across the business.
We are also interested in hearing from experienced subcontractors who may be a good fit for certain projects. While we strongly favour building our in-house team, we also value trusted freelance support and are keen to build relationships with high-quality subcontractors.
