The Barco ClickShare Hub is a modular wireless video conferencing room system, launched in June 2025, designed for Microsoft Teams Rooms that connects to cameras, microphones, displays, and speakers tailored to your meeting room size. Unlike all-in-one conferencing bars, the Hub lets you choose each peripheral, so a small huddle room and a large boardroom can both use the same system with different equipment. Building on Barco's years of expertise in wireless video conferencing and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) technology, it offers a flexible approach to meeting room design.

What is the Barco ClickShare Hub?
The Barco ClickShare Hub is a modular Microsoft Teams Rooms video conferencing system. It acts as the central hub in a meeting room, connecting with compatible peripherals such as cameras, microphones, speakers and displays. Different room sizes need different equipment: a small huddle room may need one camera and a ceiling microphone, while a boardroom may need multiple displays and a full audio array.
Built on Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP), it is designed specifically for Microsoft Teams but can also support the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) experience that ClickShare users are used to.
With the Hub, users can start Microsoft Teams meetings with a single tap on the ClickShare Control Panel, and wirelessly share content from their laptop throughout the meeting via ClickShare Buttons.
The ClickShare Hub includes Base Unit, ClickShare Control Panel, and 1 or 2 ClickShare Buttons. It is available in two models - the ClickShare Hub Core and the ClickShare Hub Pro.
A Modular Approach to Meeting Room Design
One of the key benefits of the ClickShare Hub is its modular design. Rather than being tied to one fixed set of AV equipment, the Hub can be paired with a range of different compatible cameras, microphones, speakers and other peripherals.
This allows the room system to be designed around the size and requirements of the space. A smaller meeting room may have different requirements from a large boardroom or conference room, and the modular approach allows the AV setup to reflect those differences.

ClickShare Hub is part of a certified solution for Microsoft Teams. This certification confirms integration with Microsoft Teams Rooms.

The Hub runs Microsoft Teams natively, providing users with a familiar Microsoft Teams experience when joining and managing meetings from the ClickShare Control Panel.
Can it Work With Other Video Conferencing Platforms?
Yes, but there is an important distinction.
Native Microsoft Teams Rooms: The Hub is designed to run Teams as the room's conferencing platform.
Other platforms: ClickShare Hub supports wireless BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), allowing users to run platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet from their laptop while using the room's AV equipment. This is not a native room system in the same way it is for Microsoft Teams Rooms, rather a means by which users can run video conferencing software directly from their own laptop, with connection to the camera, microphone, speakers and display, via the ClickShare Hub.

The ClickShare Hub is designed as a modular Microsoft Teams Rooms system, providing a dedicated Teams meeting experience while retaining ClickShare wireless content sharing capabilities.

The Barco ClickShare Bar is an all-in-one video conferencing bar that combines a camera, microphones and speakers in one device. It is designed to provide a compact conferencing solution for suitable meeting rooms. The ClickShare Hub, by comparison, is a modular room system that works with a range of different compatible peripherals, allowing the room’s cameras, microphones, speakers, displays and more, to be selected around its requirements. Both offer ways to support video conferencing and wireless collaboration, with the choice depending on the room, equipment and meeting style.
